  • No Wonder Newbies Get Confused...

I came across a recipe for an Induction friendly homemade shake and thought I'd look up some others.

Lo' and behold I find this from a low carb site that states that it is "the Internet's most respected fitness and weight loss e-zine:" a strawberry shake with ingredients of 1/2 c. milk & 2 c. strawberry ice cream. Ummm...what the hello is low carb about that???

I became further suspect of the site when it's links included things like "The Day Off Diet." No wonder people new to low carb dieting and Atkins get so confused.

p.s. I DID find some Induction friendly homemade shake recipes, but that is the topic of another post.

p.p.s. For source citation only, the above site was lowcarbsuccess. I will not in good conscience post the link.

You always, ALWAYS, have to double check a recipe---even if it says "Induction Friendly", because sometimes it's not.

When I was a newbie, I had a photocopy of the Rules and the Foods List by my side whenever I looked at a recipe ---- just to make sure it really was Induction Friendly.
