Give pumpkin seed milk a try!

Anyhow, my co-worker swears by this one for a facial mask:

      1 teaspoon plain yogurt
      1 teaspoon honey

Mix together, massage onto your face, wait 20 minutes and wash out.

I tried it last night. But I only let it sit for 10 minutes because my cousin called on the phone and I had to talk to her. Anyhow, my skin became smoother and it felt hydrated to the point I didn't have to moisturize it last night!

The acids in the yogurt act like a mini-skin peel treatment. The honey has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has the ability to hold moisture. I also read that honey, if used over a period of time on your skin or hair, will lighten it----which is good for me because I've been trying to get rid of these darn freckles since I was a teenager!!!!!

This is from Janice Cox's book:

        All Purpose Honey Cleanser

2 tablespoons mild liquid soap (like Castile soap)
        1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup rose water or distilled water

Mix the ingredients. Stirring too vigorously will produce bubbles, so stir gently. Use for face, body or hair.

Awesome -- everything looks like it would be fun to try at the very least. I'm a beauty product junkie and have always wanted to know how to do stuff like this. Thx for posting!

Whoa... there are WAY too many recipes I know and not enough time right now for me to give you the load properly, so here's a few skims off the top of my head...

Sugar = add to any starchy substance + yeast = fermentation...
kill slugs, strip paint, make marinades, general cleanser, disinfectant, etc

Flour = add salt, baking powder, water; sculpt... make ornaments, play dough etc

Pasta//Bread//corn//other starches = add tallow and bird seed, hang out on a branch or feeder in cold weather for critters.

Leftover beer = slug trap refill, remove paint specs from hardwood floors...

Scraps from preparing vegetables = add to mulch pile + ridX (optional) = garden gold for next season...
