    Jello Question

Hello, I was a little confused on what kind of jello I can eat while on Induction? I read it should be sugar free but the only jello I can find are the ones that have "no added sugar" but contains aspertame. I also thought we arent suppose to have aspertame? Any suggestions?

    Re: Jello Question

    Why do you want jello?

It has no nutritional value ... and can keep your cravings for sweet alive?

Yes, Dr. Atkins advises against aspartame.

You could make your own with Kool Aid, Knox gelatin, and Splenda.

I would suggest you have real food instead though!

      I guess so
I just seen some induction menus with jello and jello recipes in them and I really like jello. Guess I am still fighting the sweet tooth.
      Thanks for the advice!

You might try Induction without it.

One of the purposes of Induction is to get over your "sweet tooth".

I occasionally use SF jello. If you can find the Hunts brand, they make some with sucralose (splenda) in the little cups of premade. Its not something I would eat daily (or weekly) but once in a while it hits the spot for me.
