Can someone please tell me the answer. Im having a debate .. I say it is not low carb my friend thinks it is.

No! It is corn ... a grain
It has fewer carbs with salt than with sugar, but still not low carb.
Being a grain it's on rung 9 of OWL where you could have 5 net carbs worth per day.
Even then, 5 net carbs worth is going to be about 10-15 grams of it depending on variety which is not much!Rosie

actually while an OWL food it is low carb depending on the serving size with 5 net carbs per cup popped.by the book atkinseer
