Cauliflower is on sale this week here >>> really inexpensive (the equivalent of about $0.40/lb!> it was even cheaper in the summer!) and i wanted to buy some extra and stick it in the freezer. i was going to clean it first and freeze it - all cut up - but i was wondering if anyone else has done this and how it came out? DH thinks that it will be too 'rubbery' and didn't think it was worth it. i think i would use the 'frozen for cooking w/ other things an use fresh for steamed cauliflower (it's usually reasonably priced anyway). Any ideas?
