  • NurseLady's Kimchee

Just wanted to tell everyone here, that I made Nursey's kimchee and its twue, its twue..... :nod

It delicious and addictive, and I almost cannot get enough.

I put it on fried eggs. I put it on pepperoni, steak, hamburger, wrapped up in sliced roast beef, turkey and ham. By itself. Doesn't matter.

It does me on the Chinese food craving as well.

If you haven't tried it and like Chinese food, try it, you'll be hooked.

:hug :icondance :joy :joy :joy :icondance :icondance :hug :hug kim chee pancakes ....ready?

drain about 1/2 cup kimchee wack it up well
scramble 3 eggs with some tosted sesame seeds and oil stir in the kimchee
    little salt and pepper

heat vegetable oil to coat the bottom of a good nonstick skillet until a drop of egg sizzles and then pour the egg mix in sizzle until mostly cooked and then flip it sizzle...
the more oil you use the more crusty ..if you like it more like an omelet it is good that way as well....
you can top it with pickled ginger, sesame oil and soy sauce mixed to taste

It's a light to heavily spiced Korean dish of pickled/fermented Nappa Cabbage or Bok Choy, occasionally with some other vegetables thrown in. It can taste anywhere from a refreshing, lightly fizzy, asian themed cole-slaw to a complex, rich, dark, and incredibly strong smelling mass of bacterial fermentation depending on ingredients, style of preperation, and how long you let it sit.

You're susposed to bury it in the backyard for a while! :yes It tastes good, but if you don't like sauerkraut you probably won't like Kimchee either IMO.
