this is one of my favorite places to shop the Ranch Market has the best duck (it is a BBQ duck made with savory rather than sweet spices)...for like 10 bucks head and feet included...this place has a very ethnic deli with all kinds of things ..I make it a goal to taste one new thing when ever I go....and also has fish in tanks so you can pick and know it is healthy and alive...wish me luck I want to find a fresh ocotopus so I can make Paus Pressure cooker octopus tonight for dinner!!!

we are going to eat dim sum and seafood soup at the Impereal Garden!!!....
I am so excited!!!....thanks to Megs I think it was who taught me to peel the dumpliings and avoid the rice I eat a lot of chinese broccoli and dumpling guts!....and do fine!!! the soup I just ask for seafood soup and they make me a hot pot with veggies fish stock and lots of fresh fish!!! YUM

Funny you mentioned peeling dumplings. We've experienced a cold snap around here, so I'm making wonton-less soup for dinner tonight. Basically it's the wonton filling made into meatballs (I'm talking large meatballs--which is why the soup is main course tonight!) and poached in a ginger and green onion-spiked chicken broth.
