  • What's for dinner! come on everyone!

OK, it is way way too quiet over here today. Usually I get to this point on hump day but I'm a day early this week. I have no idea what we're having for dinner. I have to stop at the grocery store on my way home from work so I need something quick and easy, can't be chicken, burgers, tacos or steak though, we've had all that in the last 4 nites.

Sooo, what are you guys planning on having?

Steamed cabbage with a gardenburger covered in pepperjack cheese, green chilies and tomato.

*sigh* I can't bring myself to cook meat much anymore.. the smell makes me queasy!

Well, it sounds yummy, but John will never go for a meatless dinner!

You know I'm just sitting here thinking. We could have breakfast for dinner. We haven't done that in a long time. I do have bacon, sausage, cheese and eggs at the house and John has his english muffins...hmm, quick and easy and I wouldn't have to stop at the grocery store! ensive Oh yea, and I even have some fresh strawberries! :joy

Heh.. dad didn't do meatless until he had that surgery and radiation. He says once the radiation is done and over with and his mouth gets better he's going to have the biggest steak he's ever had!

Breakfast for dinner is good! We have omelets a lot for dinner around here.

        Strawberries.. *shudder*

Not sure what is for dinner for me tonight. I have had a splitting headache and sore throat all day (and I _never_ get sick) so it will have to be something gentle and easy. I got a call from the library that a cookbook I had asked to get transferred in has come in, so maybe I will see something in that.

I"m not in the mood for cooking much tonight, so the family is having a chicken pie (frozen not from scratch) with mashed potatoes.

I poached up a bunch of chicken breasts last night so i'll either chop one up and make chipotle chicken salad..or cover one with cheese and tomato sauce and heat heat up. and a veggie. no idea what to have. probably salad or cauliflower.

                    pretty boring..yawn.

Hey nursey, you're just across the river...don't tempt me! j/k. Couldn't anyway. Hurt my back. The injury specialist said it was "serious" this time. sigh. I'm feeling better though so no worries. I'm letting the husband make dinner tonight. I'm hoping for rib eye and brussel sprouts!!!
