  • Revisit Low Carb BBQ Sauce Recipies

Hi everyone. I am so dissapointed that Carb Options is off the market. I don't buy any convenience foods except I was buying their Low Carb BBQ sauce.

I have searched this site and the recipe forum and only found one BBQ sauce recipe (very basic). So I was hoping you marvelous cooks on this forum can share your BBQ sauce recipies with me if you make your own!!!

    Thanks and PLEASE!!!!????!!! :hug

I have been lucky enough to still find it in the stores even though it looks like most places have stopped carrying it. You can order it on line if you like...

I've never made BBQ sauce so I don't have any tried and true ones to share. Sorry.

It's hard to justify paying $6.95 shipping and $2.50 handling for two bottles of bbq sauce when I was used to just picking it up in the store all the time. So I think I'd like to continue looking for recipies from the great cooks on this board.

But, Mo, I saved the website on my favorites so I can use it as a last resort. I wasn't married to the product for it's flavor only the low carb count and it was convenient, rather than making my own when I'm busy...

Here's a basic one..you could substitute splenda for the sugar and low carb ketchup I would think. Then you could try adding different things like garlic, liquid smoke, a bit of bourbon etc:

Edited to add: I found a couple of low carb ones that don't look bad as well:

I've never tried any of these, though they sound pretty good!
