Wow, that looks good. I've only been to pig roasts too where the pig is on a spit over a fire pit. I bet your bbq was amazing.

Ok, then, all you suckling pig experts--how big a pig DO I order for my 36" wide rotisserie? Do I go suckling, or do I order by weight, and get a little bit bigger guy?

You know, I don't know how many people were even there or invited. We didn't stay late, its usually the kind of day where people come and go all throughout the day. I would guess it would have fed at least 80 folks. There was a ton of other food too, everybody brings a covered dish.

Moggies that looked awesome!! But I'm with Sadie.. once I see the face I can't eat it. I've always been like that. One time when I was about 14 I got to visit a friend for Christmas/New Years in another state and her brother shot a wild boar that they roasted for New Years.

When he took us out to his truck to see his prize pig, the pig was still breathing and I couldn't handle it so I couldn't eat it!!! BUT I am not anywhere close to being a vegetarian. My food just has to look like it does in the market!!!

Glad you had a great time!!
