    Eggs benny, are my favourite type of eggs. And of course its the hollandaise sauce that makes it so scrumptuous. I think I can eat both sauces on almost everything :yikes

      Ok so my arteries are clogging as we speak but I had it again tonight my son poaced some dover sole and fresh string beans OMG ...is there anything this can not go on ....I put extra hot pepper in mine!!!! My son was telling me when he was in culinary school they have an Hollandaise machine!!!! OMG :yikes

        Actually they do have a package hollendaise sauce that you just add water to, for those really really cooking challenged. The recipe is sooo easy. You just have to be sure to not get it too hot or it curdles. I use a double boiler.
        Sorry I didn't see this thread before Nursey. I could not believe you have never had eggs benedict! That restaurant near us does spinach benes, seafood benes, almost any kind of bene you can imagine! I did a steak bene this morning, posted a pic. My kids and DH were thrilled. I hadn't made that in so long. Thanks for making me think of it! Marla said it was better than any she had ever eaten in a restaurant!

          wow your welcome!!! Tonight...smoked turkey and asparagus and guess what....hollandaise!...my sons request!!! I hear my arteries backing up as we speak!!!!...... :yikes ...ok it iis pretty funny that I am eating all this hollandaise and still have lost more weight!!!!...My dad would give birth to a cow if he ever knew!!!!....(he is an anesthesiologist!)....part of the reason I have never tried Hollandaise!...

                  that recipe was from Tyler Florence of Food 911 I would not know the dif to be honest because it was my first but it tasted wonderful....I have to be honest now....I am done ...I overdosed and can not face Hollandaise for a while ...or asparagus!!!! I must have eaten 3 lbs myself over the past week!!!!.... :vomit we have such good asparagus east of the mts here and I do this every spring....blaaahhhhh no more for me.....on to the next veggie...
