I'm curious to try the Atkins syrup. I almost bought it the other day, but I found a local brand that was only $1.50 for a bottle, compared to $4 for the Atkins' brand. They both had 0 carbs. When I tried the kind that I bought (sorry, forget the name, but it's made in Massachusetts), it tasted like chemicals. There is a little bit of a maple syrup taste at first, but then it just tastes like fuel, and the aftertaste is even worse.
Does anyone know if Atkins has this same chemical taste? I don't want to spend $4 on a bottle and end up with 2 full bottles of syrup that I won't use. Judging by this post, most people seem to like it. Then again, the people who hate it probably don't post it
