    Re: Miracle Noodles reviews?

The Miracle Noodles are great. I had not problems getting an order shipped. I purchased the Angel Hair type. I cut up a few pieces of chicken and broccilli into a skillet and topped with Alfredo sauce to which I added a little salt, pepper and garlic powder and Parmi. cheese to taste. I rinsed the noodle for about 3 minutes and spooned on the hot mixture and they were great. The Miracle Noodles absord the taste of whatever sauce you add hot on top. I am ordering other types now. The texture is a little odd but they taste great.

My packs had instructions in English and they do say to refrigerate for longer life.

Thanks, I keep mine in the fridge now.
I LOVE these noodles with tomato, bacon and onion sauce - topped with grated cheddar cheese - a real treat. x

I searched all over the DC area and couldn't find them. Just ordered a 12 pack directly from the company. I'm looking forward to trying it.

I ordered the angle hair noodles and have found them to be great. The fishy smell (I did not find this to be all that heavy even before washing) can be totally removed if you run water over them for about 5 minutes. I then usually put them is warm (not boiling) water until just before I am ready to use them in order to warm them up. You also have to dry them via microwave or between paper ts.

I find that with food they are very filling and help to curve any hunger I have...that may be one of their greatest benefits. I found myslef eating about half what I normally would in terms of the sauce I added.

I do wonder though.....are these really healthy? It has been my experience that sometimes things like this really are too good to be true. At the same time they have been a part of Asian diets for a very long time and probably are what they are...just keep wondering what is the catch.

I have found them at whole foods but I just recently found them at our Meijers grocery store. Check you local health food stores or health food departments at your grocery store. I am going to tell you that I was nervous to try them because I had read that they have a stinky smell. They are packed in water(?). What I did was open the package, it did smell, poured it into a strainer and rinsed them. I took a quarter of a fresh lemon in a mug of hot water and poured it over the noodles in a bowl and let it sit for a couple of minutes and wa la no smell or funky taste. I hope this helps.

I found the Miracle Noodles to be great. That "fishy" smell will be gone if you rinse then as instructed for 4 to 5 minutes under warm water. I use then with low carb sauces. Like cheese types with chicken dishes. They are not meant to be cooked. They will get more rubbery if cooked. I have microwaved them one minute at work to warm them up. Yes, they are very filling but sometimes that is what we need.

I just purchased these through the Asian Grocer. They are cheaper there than on Miracle Noodle. I will be trying these out this weekend and will reply with my ideas on them.

These are not allowed on induction - neither are the shakes and bars -- read the acceptable food list and make sure if it's not on the list it doesn't go in your mouth.

I am not on Induction. I have left the site and have returned. These noodles may not appear on the induction list but they have no carbs and may help a new person stay on track with Atkins.

                        Hi everyone!

I just received my first shipment of Miracle noodles and tried them. I have to say that I love them, I washed them, put some oilive oil salt and pepper and parmesan cheese on them and they were great! I did not have any of the fishy smell or any of the complains about them that I read. They were really taste. They remind me of Soba noodles, Can't wait to see what the black ones taste like.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to say that these noodles can be found in the refrigerated section of Whole Foods near the tofu. Also, IMO they are totally gross! I would rather be ravenously hungry than eat those noodles ever again!

                            I LOVE THEM!!!!!!

If you rinse them under COLD water in a strainer the smell washes away. Then I rinse them under HOT water to warm them. If you cook them they will get rubbery.
I then dry them with paper towels (they will stick to the paper towel but will rub off easily). If you don't dry them they will not absorb the flavor of the sauce or butter you put on them.
They really don't have a flavor but they will absorb flavors well if dry. I like the angel hair best and the fettuccini next.
Worth a try if you are not a texture freak.....

I have tried the SHataki Noodles. Lastnight to be exact.

They are made from tofy and AWESOME!! They are packaged in water of some kind and the smell it putrid when opening the package but dont let it discourage you. Once rinsed andparboiled like instructed they are fabulous. No taste what so ever.

You can find then in the freezer section at your local asian grocery store.
They have a total of 1net carb. They have the texture of a chewy top ramen noodle in my opinion. We did them in a yellow curry sauce. Also here is a little tip. Coconut is very very low carb. Great for sauce base or for a breakfest drink or dessert drizzle
