Anyone doing a turducken this holiday season???

I am considering it. Just can't decide.

Of course, I would have to make a bread free sausage stuffing for it.
I guess it would be a turduckenig.

mmmmmmmm.... I wonder if I could figure out how to put beef in it...
"I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

Buffalo wings, not just for breakfast anymore.

Hey baby, how do you like bald fat guys with no money?

No, I go traditional turkey here... but that does sound... good.

Can you fit bacon AND beef in there, with the sausage?

    That'd be a Turduckeneefaconage.

        Buffalo, too.

        Squirturduckeneefaconageffallo.

I'd suggest fish, but that would be just too much, man, far too much. This creation is getting to be the size of a medicine ball as it is.

        A delicious, delicious medicine ball.

We ought to encrust it with parm while we're at it.

I am so hungry right now, you ruined me with the chicken wing thread, and this is just torturing me. I need to go to the grocery.

                  Re: Turducken

A Turducken is a chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey

traditionally with a layer of cornbread stuffing between the layers, but we are substituting sausage.

And thinking of other animals to add....

The outer shell must be encrusted with garlic parmesan, for sure.

How about bacon and different cheeses as the layer separator?

Turducken!!! YUM!!! I am thinking about doing it for the first time this year, I have never made one, but I hear you can order them all ready for the oven. The only problem is that all the ones I have found are full of dressing... which is packed with bread and the devilish (BAD) Carb!!! If you have a recipe for a low carb or carb free dressing hook me up. I am concentrating on cooking low and (GOOD) carb this year, I guess the company that is coming over is going to just have to deal with it... I am the cook after all... BOO HA HA!!!

                          Re: Turducken

I'm thinking about "stuffing" it with a layer of Italian sausage. The fat will keep it moist, the sausage is highly seasoned, so that will be nice thru the poultry, and should be fairly hassle free.

I will have to cook it at a fairly low temp for a LONG time to cook it through (165F internal temp), but shouldn't be hard to do.

I will probably add a little soy flour and egg to the sausage as a binder, kinda like a low carb meat loaf.
