    Crab Alfredo - AWESOME and SIMPLE!

    Low Carb Crab Alfredo

    Ingredients




    Heavy Whipping Cream, .5 cup, fluid
    *Kraft Mozzarella Finely shredded Part Skim cheese, .5 cup
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, 2 tbsp
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    Salt, .125 tsp
    Crab Meat, 8 oz



    Directions



    Cook crab in butter over medium high heat until mostly cooked. Add the cream and salt and reduce heat. Add the parmesan cheese graually and then most of the mozzarella. Move to a small casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on the top. Stick in oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or so until cheese is melted and bubbly.

    Can you use canned crab??

      I don't see why not - as long as it's not the fake stuff. You could also use shrimp, too. I've also tried it with chicken and it was pretty good.

        How can I tell if its fake? Lmao I bought the one thats next to the tuna fish.. is that right? haha

          You should be able to tell by the ingredients. I think the fake stuff is mixed with other fishes and some non-atkins friendly stuff.

              I actually did that the other night with a chicken alfredo version and it was YUM!! I've also started adding a little garlic seasoning, pepper, and parsley to mine. Really good.
