    Marinade for chicken breast

Does anyone have a easy marinade I can make for chicken breast out of ingredients I already have here at home? Thanks!

I like using a garlic press and pressing a couple of cloves of garlic. Mix them with ground black pepper and some herbs (if I have any!). Then add enough olive oil to make a paste of the garlic. I smear this on the chicken breast, cover them with plastic and let them sit in the frig to let the garlic flavor penetrate the meat. Then I grill them on my Foreman grill or I pan sear them.

I'm not a big fan of the acid-based marinades (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) because I find if they are left too long in that marinade the meat texture becomes mushy.

Its not really something from home per se unless youre like me and always have Italian dressing on hand lol. I LOVE putting Italian dressing on the chicken. It gives it a little different taaste and a little kick as well.

Soy sauce and hot sauce. Hot Sauce to taste, and don't marinade it to long other wise the chicken can become to salty.
