  • In-N-Out Burger

I did a search and was surprised that there is no active thread on this place!

I am getting set for the induction phase and was hoping the animal sauce was legal. I know generally any 'sauce' is suspect but I am not exactly sure what's in it.

The website will only give overall nutrition facts for the burgers, no ingredients. Anyone have an idea?

    TIA!

Gee, I don't know about the animal sauce, but i'm guessing it might have sugars in it. You can always ask them when you go there. I LOVE in-n-out, I wish I lived near one, I only get to eat there when we visit my husband's family in orange county.....first burger I ever ate there was 4x4 Animal Style!!! I coudln't finish it, but I bet I could finish one now, protein style, so yummy!

Wow, I have never heard of a 4x4, I would love to try that one! They have a bunch of quasi-secret menu options, including the protein style. I have been doing protein style for a while and people still ask about what exactly I ordered.

I just went and tried to get the animal minus the sauce, but they still put the sauce in there. I ate it anyway b/c it takes forever to get an order through...

We don't have those places here so I can't help. But they are required to provide the information to you if you ask for it. Why not email them? Most places will happily answer your questions!...well, with the exception of Quiznos--they never respond.

I think the sauce is a fancy thousand island style.

http://www.in-n-out.com/nutritional_info.asp That's the nutrition info for the items, but not the sauce.

Probably not a lot of threads on In N Out because it's a CA based restaurant.. maybe even just in So. Cal even?

I never heard of the animal sauce?!

That sounds like something for the serious Carnivore! Wonder what kind of animals they use to make it?

We have them here in Las Vegas too. I think from a while back I remember their website saying a protein style w/sauce had like 11 carbs. I would assume most of that was the sauce.

that's still a lot of carbs 11 for a protein style hamburger
I guess it would be less if you got it without
                      ketcup and sauce or something

ARG! Pregnant and now craving.. should have passed on reading this thread I know there are In and Out's in the Sacramento/Rio Linda area and Turlock in California. Too far for my to drive for a burger right now, but if the hubby was home that would be another story =D hehe

Great info thanks! I've been there many times and I always pass or eat just the burger, didn't even know they did a lettuce wrap.
