  • I cheated!!!!!

I cheated really bad my whole fourth week!!! In the first three weeks, I had lost 15 pounds. I have gained it all back now!! I am no longer in ketosis and I was wondering if I have to start all over again. I am so angry with myself. I cheated one day then I said, "Oh, I'll start back tomorrow," and a week went by and tomorrow never came.

    Thanks,

Dig in and reinduct. You need to not only get back in ketosis, but get a real grip on the cravings and bad habits.

You can do anything you put your mind to!

      Tori-

I know exactly what you are going through. I lost about 15 lbs and by the sixth week, I cheated. It was really difficult to get back on but I finally decided that I needed to do this for myself.

It seems that the first time around I had a very strong will power to stay on Atkins and then I sort of lost it. But I have found it, I think.

I just restarted and I feel proud of myself. One of things I did this time was that I wrote down some goals for myself. Brook recommended it and I looked at her goals post and it inspired me. I have to admit that writing down those goals was tough because I had to look within myself but now I am glad that I did them.

Here is a link to that post and I hope that it motivates you the same way that it motivated me.

Good luck on this low carb journey!!!

        I cheated 2 days ago...

Went with my friend to Red Lobster and ate 3/4 of a cheese biscuit(Those things must come from the Devil they are so good!)

Also later that night at Waffle House, I had half a slice of toast. Im still in ketosis, so I think I dodged the bullet...+

          Morgan,
          those cheese biscuits are EVIL.
Just EVIL. Little starchy pieces of ****.
But they're sooooooo good. ::slaps self:: No they're not. Not at all.

I'm afraid to go to Red Lobster because my fiance would murder me if I asked them not to bring the bicuits, but if they did, I would probably lose that iron-clad willpower I've been successfully carrying for weeks now.

Lord, give me strength to accept the things I cannot change...and to avoid Snickers. Amen.
