  • Ruby Tuesday Goes Low Carb!!!

I found out today from some co-workers that Ruby Tuesday now has a low carb menu. They say it is really good. I am going there tomorrow for dinner and give it a try. I'm including some links below for anyone who is interested in checking it out.

I just ordered some of the hotwings from their curbside pickup. They were awesome, and only one carb for 10 wings!!! Too good to be true! Kind of expensive, but an awesome alternative to cooking.

Warning: on another board (Low Carb Friends) several posters were saying that they had horrible sugar aftereffects after eating their "low carb" cheesecake which is apparently made with levoluse (fructose).

Others say it's not so bad. Do the research and make your own decisions.

They also slather their mashed cauliflower with trans fats. Me, I'm staying away from this place.

I LOVE Ruby Tuesdays. Have eaten there a couple of times and the food was fabulous. I especially love the cheesecake! I have had no problems with any reactions from the food... and I am pretty sensitive.

Today I went to Ruby Tuesdays, and ordered the low carb chopped steak with broccoli and creamy mashed cauliflower. It was really good. I shared a piece of the low carb cheese cake with my husband, and wow it was great. I will go back soon.

I went the other evening and tried the low-carb chicken quessadilla and the low-carb bleu cheese burger wrap. Both were quite tasty, tasted almost too good to be truly low-carb.

Hey CleverNick...I was just at Ruby Tuesday's for dinner, and I see in your previous post that you have 10 wings for 1 carb...they are actually 10 wings for 6 carbs. Just wanted to let you know (I got that info from the new low-carb menu's they have at the table)

I spoke to the server at Ruby Tuesdays last night and also visited that website about trans fat free america. They DO NOT USE hydrogenated oils in their cooking, frying, NOTHING. They have pledged not to use unhealthy oils I believe just recently. I eat there frequently and the food is very good. We also split a piece of the cheese cake and it was great. Used in moderation in later phases there's nothing wrong with a little endulging.

Ruby Tuesday's is a great place to get low-carb food. I like the wings, steak with brocolli, and the cheesecake. TGI Friday's and Chiles are other places that let you know about the carb count on items. :yes

I've had dinner at Ruby Tuesdays a few times. Their food is excellent and filling. I stay away from any desserts since I am still on induction, but I was completely satisfied when I left and had a great time.

The Tilapia dish with shrimp on top is to die for! They've always had it on their regular menu but now they have a low carb version. Instead of rice on the side, they offer the mash cauliflower. It's very filling too. :yummy
