I had this at an Afghan restaurant recently. It was sooo good! You can skip the yogurt sauce as it really doesn't need it, I figure that'd make it easier to make at home.

OMG this is some of the sexiest food (whoops I slipped a dirty word and had to edit!!
) I have ever eaten!!!! it is easy to make!!! Yummmmm I have not thought of this in ages!!! if I was not going in an entirely different direction (Thai food) this evening ..this is where I would have gone...thanks for bringing this wonderful dish up!!! I love when I forget about a food and rediscover it
