da walnut-- weird thinking we put oregano on pizza (and the doughb is amde with yeast). It's a dietary anomaly.

And they make OOO in a capsule?!

They didn't have capsules at GNC or I would have purchased those. I'm just going to keep sucking down this craptacular water if it kills me!

(And to think I gave up Diet Coke today too).

    I think I'm a masochist.

Whip me, beat me, make me drink really bad-tasting water! :joy

You got a smile, and that's a task right now. But yes, they do make gelcaps with the stuff. According to my health food store, the liquid shocks it, and they recommend it for yeast in other places.

Since I can't start the diet until after Thanksgiving, I am being brave and drinking it. The only way it woks is if I eat something right after it to knock out the taste. I don't think I'll be eating oregano any time soon.

I wouldn't take the OoO if you're not following a cleansing diet right now.... you can cause your candida to create an immunity to the OoO if you feed the yeast while you're taking things to kill the yeast.

I'd wait to start the OoO until your ready to do the diet.

BTW.... I highly recommend the pills. NO taste, NO smell and NO oregano burps.

Here in Missouri, I found both the Oil of Oregano pills AND the Apple Cider Vinegar tablets at...of all places....WALMART!!! :yikes

Very inexpensive and will do the trick without the NASTY taste!!!
          Stay safe!

I did the spit test today. part of it kinda dissolved... and part sank and looked nasty. so I think I'm a case, too?
don't know yet if I can find any of the stuff you've mentioned. and I can't quite imagine living without dairy... this means np whipped cream on my decaf, no heavy cream on my veggies, no cream cheese with my flax and no cheese with my cauliflower... no sour cream with my cucumbers... how did you manage it?

Every website seems different... but Dr. Atkins says that cream cheese and mozzarella are okay.

can some one provide some links to the KISS diet and a list of the suppliments needed to kick this lil puppy in the grass!

I have back searched Becky Sues posts but it is late and I am getting too tired... my eyes are getting watery and everything is going blurry....or is that just because I can imagine what oregano water tastes like...blechk!

On Adele's web site it will tell you about, KISS(Keep It Simple, Sweetie). and Gold Standard.

KISS is for dieters that are not loosing eating within the Atkin's WOE. Or it could be that you were loosing for a few months then come to a screeching hault, like I did.

Gold Standard is a strict form of KISS. It is for the dieter to get control over Yeast overgrowth , of which I have been working on. When you have an overgrowth of yeast it can cause stalls on weight loss too.
So you have to turn into a pretty good detective to try and figure out what is happen and why you aren't loosing.

I feel like Inspector Clueso and I have figured out what is working for me. I just hope it keeps working.

KISS and Gold Standard is very restrictive and only used for dieters having stalls that don't break. But believe me KISS and Gold Standard does work. I am living proof.

If I can help anyone with this, contact me and I will help as much as I can.

                    Happy Low Carbing!!!

                      Hi Folks:

Thought I would update you on my results so far. I started the Yeast cleanse on Thursday last week and have lost 3 pounds since. The dieoff was awful, felt like I had the flu - but now I feel great! The combination of the yeast cleanse and the rejuvenator cleanse have helped my IBS symptoms too. Woo Hoo!
Don't judge me by your ignorance.

I just want to add my 2 cents.

I have suffered form yeast all my life......... besides the symptoms mention here, I also have suffered horribly form a yeasty rash under my breast and I have been plagued with a white tongue all my life.

I tried the yeast buster a year or so ago.. (OMG, drink a glass of this foul tasting oil mixed with clay and psyllium) but it didn't do a darn thing.. (duh! I was eating sugar)

Since starting this WOL, my rash is gone, and my tongue is pinker than ever before, so my yeast IS dying off........ but still present when I did the spit test. I don't eat cheese or mushrooms, but I have enjoyed cream immensely in the past few months.

I take three-lac daily (I have to count it as 1carb though)......... and I have now increased it to 3x/daily.

I have put OoO on my shopping list, and have moved my bottle of ACV (apple cider vinegar) right here beside me on my desk (I love the taste and drink it straight out of the bottle LOL).........

I will keep you posted, I just wanted to add my name to the list of non-losers suffering from yeast.

So deislebud..you have to let us know if the weightloss moves along a bit swifter with the new onslaught on the yeast... I will wait with bated breath..

Oh um...can you just have the apple cider vinegar without the OoO? .. will it still work?...I was just wondering because I am having trouble finding it out here... (thankfully cos I don't know if I could force myself to drink it :yikes )
