just an update on me. I have been on my supplements and anti-yeast diet for just over a week now. Checked this morning and I still have the yeastie beastie and I still have not lost even an ounce....but I know it is earlier. I know it will take more than a week...but I am so impatient!! :anger

just remember to count those carbs in your Apple Cidar vinegar too wouldn't want your cure knocking you out of ketosis.

Oh um...can you just have the apple cider vinegar without the OoO? .. will it still work?...I was just wondering because I am having trouble finding it out here... (thankfully cos I don't know if I could force myself to drink it :yikes )
I found OoO at Walmart tonight, it wasn't cheap... $33 :yikes :yikes

For a teeny little bottle of drops, I couldn't find the capsules.

don't forget they get to legally round down if it is less then .5 carbs per serving size. that means it could have 7.999999 carbs per cup and if you are drinking straight from the bottle you are guzzling quit a bit

Hey, I just read that you can put the OoO drops into empty 'gelcaps' if you don't like the taste.

                Brilliant!!!

I love the taste of the OOO now in the liquid form!

I actually so love it that I prefer it to the flavor of any other beverage! It's like drinking cloved/spiced water. Very nice!

                  Question, ladies (or gents):

I'm taking OoO, acidophilus, garlic, and apple cider vinegar tabs.

Is that like overkill? Am I going to become the anti-fungi? (Or fun gal?)

                  :joy

Sorry but I am very confused about what to do. I did the spit test
and it came back positive but I have no other symptoms other than the weight loss has slowed . Only 6 pounds this month.

Do I start taking OOO ? Do I just cut back on cheese? Do I buy all the products on the "yeast web sites"?

cleochatra once your have done your 14 day cleanse take the test and see if you got rid of it, If you did then you can cut back your anti fungal and nost probiotics tell you to cut back after you get established. If you are still yeastie then keep it up. SOme folk takes months to get rid of it your diet is very important too right now.

ann mayes if you are symptom free then you might just want to use an antifungal and probiotics for a few weeks and see if your yeast doesn't clear up.
6 pounds in one month isn't slow Dr Atkins says 1-2 pounds a week after the initial induction loss so you are doing great. I feel like saying patience grasshopper like the monk in Kung Fu

                        Thanks,

I am happy with the weight loss . I was reading about the yeast thing and took the test.

Now I have to ask -- what antifundal & probiotics???

And could the spit test show yeast when you have had cheese cake ( legal one) the night before for the first time.

probiotics are bacteria that are friendly to us and assist us in breaking down some food compounds and making Vit K in our intestins
                          Antifungal is fungus killing compounds.

The yeast were already there and it was a coincidence the timing of the cheese cale and the testing.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

Apple Ciger Vinegar is NOT good for you.

RAW UNprocessed Apple Cider Vinegar from the Health Food Store (or in pill form) IS good for you.

I bought the regular kind from the supermarket by mistake.... but I have not used it as of this moment. Is the regular supermarket kind okay??? .... or is it in the same class as all the other vinegars that we're supposed to be avoiding??

BTW... it's normal for people to sometimes gain slightly before they start losing once they have started a candida cleansing diet. Don't be afraid if you gain 2-3 pounds when you first start. It's a sign that you had a pretty bad case of candida... and it will disappear, along with more weight, as soon as you start to get a handle on your yeasties.

                                You are absolutely 100% correct.

You want the raw, unpasteurized ACV with the floaties in it
