      Hi Guys :wave

I am down 12 lbs. since the Jan.3, only 2 more and I will be at the weight I was before tumbling off the wagon.

DH and I have been eating stirfrys pretty much all week. I usually have a salmon omelette in the morning. Have been able to stay away from dairy and sweeteners. I do miss that cream in my coffee, but not the cheese, I'm still cheesed out from the holidays.

Back to biking and using my exercise bands. Santa gave me great music, so I'm bopping around the house while I clean....good workout.

Not in ketosis, but that is not unusual for me. One more week to go.

Count me in the Induction Group

          Ladies,

hope there's room for one more. I would love to join this merry band of pirates in their treasure hunt for the ultimate body.
          :icondance

Did bootcamp last October and lost 4 lbs and then carried on to lose a couple more. However the holidays and the travelling did me in. I am now at 152 and my Ultimate goal is 120.

Canuck, I am so motivated by your weight loss and hopefully I will lose as much weight as you have.

To all out there, good luck and may all of you succeed in reaching your weight loss goal this year.

I am joining you ladies in Induction starting tomorrow. Need to go shopping today for all the stuff I need. However I am only eating veges and protein today to prepare myself for the induction.

          Cheers

Goodonya girl, welcome, I am doing it good this time, no cheats and only thing I must work on is drinking more water and moving more. It is minus 43 c so not walking outside, using treadmill or curling. There is a new exercise challenge going on in exercise forum for those who like that check it out.
I hope this time next yr to be to goal. I am gong to use BMI and not weight in lbs as that is too tricky to know what is right for your body.

woo hoo Binsk Canuck keep plugging away we don't ant a Canuck popcycle but you can surely find some indo exercise you can do/ have you been to the lib to see if they have any you can do whileresting that injured area? Did you ask your therapist as i'm sure they don't want a Canuk couch potato either.

Oh the BMi will not apply to anyone who has losts of lean body tissue. i amd underweight on the Coopersite and right at 14.9% BF but I'm still over weight by the BMI charts

ya i have the ones from phsyio and I am active, anyone who knows me would not think i am a couch potato, especially my couch. hehe... just not at gym, using my treadmill, curling and extensive hard cleaning and stairs in B&B.
How can someone 5'4' be underweight at 168, I mean you look lean and musculur etc but normally they say 148, that is what is making me decide to not use wieght charts. how did you decide you were at goal.curious as i need to start my planning for that.
I am drinking my water more today.goota go....bathroom calling. LOL

Whoa Canuck, -43 C. Now thats cold. Yesterday we had the warmest day recorded in history for January and February in Canada....+18 C. Within 24 hours the temperature has dropped to -6 C. You know what they say, if you live in Canada, if look out your front window and don't like what you see, look out your back window it will change.

Diet is going well, and I'm starting to get used to no cream or sweetener in my morning coffee. No more change in weight, but keeping up with the exercise. It's amazing how hard it is to get in 20 g of carbs when you eliminate dairy. DH did the spit test this week, and it was positive. He has decided that on Monday he is starting the same eating plan. This should be interesting. I've been doing this on my own for almost 10 months now. DH is not overweight, and is not used to deprivation of any kind. Everynight he sits and eats chips while watching TV. He loves chocolate and sweets. He has tons of energy.

Have a good weekend everyone, and drink your water.

well I'm 5'9" and have large bones.
I had a dunk tank done and have 142 pounds of lean tissue so I was fooling around in April calculating somebody's fat % for them and thought while I was at it I'd do mine and 14.9% which if you look on the charts that is tjust below the healthy range for jocks so I passed goal for normal females back in Aug of 03 and didn't realize it.

oh and just so you know coffee has a chemical in it that raises cholesterol so keep the cream and give up the coffee. :nod

2Big you're breaking my heart. I love my coffee. Gave up the dairy for now because I'm trying to get rid of yeast overgrowth. Doc has me on Crestor (like Lipitor) for cholesterol. I've never heard that coffee contributes to high cholesterol. I have 1 - 2 8oz. cups a day of freshly ground decaf. Please tell me I don't have to give it up completely. :yikes

I'm hoping to slowly add back in dairy when the yeast is under control.

Thanks for watching out for us 2Big.

Hey all! Just checking in! I'm down 5 (as of last weigh in-only doing that weekly) of the 7 lbs I gained over Mommy's illness and funeral proceedings. Getting my water in almost always, but still having a hard time getting enough exercise in-helping Daddy clean on my days off (Mommy was a packrat-you would NOT believe! I will not have to buy new tops until I get my boobs to under a size 10-most still have tags on them- or Hades freezes over--- and that's after we've given 27 garbage bags of clothing to charity!) and he's been coming over to dinner 2-3 times a week which means more cooking than I normally do and sometimes cooking 2 meals an evening to accomodate-tonight it was low carb deep dish pizza compliments of Linda's Low Carb Recipes and chicken and dumplings, baked thighs and legs, and salad (I DON'T LIKE DARK MEAT-UGHH!). LOL, anyway, I was hungry for pizza, so I had him try a bite and he loved it, so I know now that I can fix it occasionally when he comes over and not have to cook 2 meals! Sorry for the rambling-the mind has been doing that a lot lately, just wanted you to know that I'm still here trying hard and will be helping out with BC this time and I think that will help me to keep on track and get my water and exercise in since I can't have them do something I'm not doing!

Hi all, I am joining on doing Induction again in 2005! I have done well today, probably to well. My carbs were around 10. I have found that if I get to low on carbs, I don't lose any weight. So I know I need to add some salad to the mix.

I got most of my water today, but I didn't get my excercise! I will get it tomorrow.

Sorry it is so cold up there Canuck, but we had 58 degrees down here in Georgia today. It was a beautiful day!!!

                                Have a great week, everyone!
