Are you in a pedometer challenge Jimmie, or just keeping track of steps on your own? Haven't checked, but I thought the challenge faded away shortly after a few of us dropped out...

I too have a few excess flights after reaching a couple of base camps. Haven't put them towards anything this time... can't seem to find time to decide what to make my "interim" climb. Need an extra 12 hours in each day! Grrrr!

no, sal, not in a challenge but i did want to start wearing my pedometer so i could log any steps towards the route 66 challenge.

          Hi, everyone...

          Yes, I deserve that...

I was wondering, does running on a wheel, (e.g. a hamster wheel) count toward flights? I've been going around and around, but seem to be getting nowhere...

.................OMG how did I fail AGAIN

                                i'll help!

the standard for steps per flight is 15. that is the calculation that the original flight challenge uses. those calculations were then used for the other sets of climbs ie: more buildings, towers/mast/chimneys and so on.

in my case, i only have 13 steps per flight in my house so i just drop a penny in a basket each time i go upstairs. at the end of the day, i add my pennies, mutiply them times 13 {to get total steps} then i divide that number by 15.

what else can i help you with? and oh btw WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE!
