    welcome back to ADBB Bestestnana and toi the treadmilltreckies

    figure out how many minutes you feel you can do the rest of the month pledge them as your goal to shoot for and post every time you use the machine.

            treadmilling is a great start. remember as you build your endurance you need to increase your speed and or lenght of your workout just to be burning the same amount of your exces fat each time.

              Thanks....after say a week at 30 mins. should one up the length of time OR up the speed on the treadmill? Not sure what speed, other than slow, that I'm starting at today...it didn't kill me, but I worked up a sweat and begain dripping toward the 20-25 min. mark figured I best not push it my first day on the machine...???

                check your heart rate and if it is going slowewr next week at the same speed then go faster. i started at 2MPH and now walk off the front of the treadmill at that speed.

                    Did 40 mins. on treadmill this a.m..... worked up a good sweat and felt great after my shower! Let's keep on truckin'.....

                      Friday was 40 minutes of incidental walking (walking around a mall with a friend, window shopping).

                      Saturday was 45 minutes of fast walking - 3 miles.

                      Sunday as 2 4-miles walks. One was 50 minutes (FAST walking). The other was 1 hour 15 minutes.

                        4 miles yesterday. 2 15-minute walks (to and from work, just under 2 miles total), plus a 40 minute walk at lunch.

                              I know the month is almost half over, but I want to join the challenge. I just came back to Atkins a week ago, and I want to jump right in on the exercise portion too. I'm going to commit to a minumum of 600 minutes for the rest of the month. That treadmill won't be a clothes rack any longer!
