  • Join the Slim In 6 Challenge NOW!- Only - Six Weeks!

I'm on day 5 of Start It Up (SIU) and I love reading the old Vidiots posts but because it's from so long ago, it's just no fun when I can't reply.

Anyone want to join me and do Slim in Six? I will probably stay on SIU for another week at least because I'm way out of shape but I get better every day!

I crack up every time they show the guy's before and after picture from the test group (in the beginning of SIU). He has a hairy chest in his before picture and almost hairless in his after picture. I think he lost weight and shaped up but I can't quit looking at the chest hair and lack of. Tee hee!

            Hi Sadie!
Count me in - this is my third day doing Start-it-up. I've been on a plateau for 4 months and I'm kicking up my exercise (Slim-in-6ing).

Oh and thanks - next time I see the hairy vs non-hairy guy, I'm going to think of your post - anything to make the time go by, especially funnies.

Question - is the plan to do Start-it-up for six weeks?

The program is designed to be climbed in three stages. Once you've mastered Start It Up and are able to keep your form and follow the routine, it's time to Ramp It Up!!

They tell you to do SIU for the first few days, the RIU for 2 weeks and then BIU for the last 3. My personal experience with the program was that I didn't make it to BIU until week 6 my first time through - and I wished for death the entire time. LOL

Count me in on this. I did the Vidiot's challenge and then got out of doing SI6. I'm starting it again, so this is perfect timing for a challenge.

Thank you so much Brook! Mine didn't come with instructions, just the dvd's that I bought on ebay so that's good to know!

I just finished SIU and am sitting here all sweaty drinking my water and downing my vitamins! I feel sooooooo good after I work out! Right now SIU is more than I can handle! I'm going to do what Brook says and wait until I have mastered it, being able to keep my form and follow the routine. I think I'll add something to my signature about the SI6 challenge.

Today was my 6th straight day - so I think that means that I can take tomorrow off if I want to. Didn't I read somewhere it's only 6 days a week? I'm not sure if I even want to take a day off. I have improved sooooo much in only 6 days! The first day was easy because I think I wasn't sore yet! I couldn't keep up with the whole routine but I remember thinking it was going to be easy. Ha ha ha! The second day I was a little sore. The third day was VERY SORE! Beginning with the 4th day I started feeling better and it has improved every day. I could only do ONE pushup the first day and today I did 10!

From the way it looks, I'm looking at probably at a minimum, another week of SIU. My arms burn sooooo bad that I have to either put them on my hips or my head. Every day it gets better though.

                      Jillybunny - How'd day 2 go?

gabs275 - Thanks so much for joining! Four months is toooooo long to plateau!!

The Plan (ha ha) is to do Slim In 6 at your individual pace for 6 weeks! I hope I'll master SIU before 6 weeks is up and be able to move on to the next workout! Is the next one Ramp it up (RIU)?

Jimmie 48 - Thanks so much for editing the title of this thread so people will know it's a Challenge and join us!

qbu - I'm glad you're in! Did you start yet? Since you did Vidiots challenge you should have some good pointers huh!

Slimndown - How'd you do on SIU?

We've got a great group going here and hopefully more will join! Y'all spread the word ok!

Oh yeah, someone posted that the music sounds like porno music so I think of that every time I hear the music. Too funny! I wonder if you lived in an apartment and neighbors could hear through the walls, what they would think to hear the music and the panting... ha ha ha!

I'm starting Start It Up again tonight.

The one thing the Vidiot's challenge taught me is that it works. It hurts in the beginning but gets easier.

It's brutal at times...but worth it. I felt really good when I was doing the workouts each day, but then life took over and I didn't have time to do them. I'm getting back to focusing on me again and this challenge is what I need to start.
