    WELCOME TO ANY AND ALL TREADMILLERS.

    WE GOT A NEW MONTH AND A NEW START SO HOW MANY MINUTES MILES YOU DOING?

    set your own pace and as your fitness level improves increse your commitment, I know when I was a beginner 2MPH made me feel like Rocky at the top of those steps but now 2MPH and I'd walk off the front of the treadmill.

    you need to figure your monthly total as your commitment to this challenge and post it in here and then just count them down or up every day in this topic. You can use miles, minutes or even steps. Don't forget to change your icon to this topic too you need to change 474905 TO 488098 in your sting of siggy code or copy the whole code string and delete the 4*s.

    Hi, I'd like to join in. I'm not sure exactly how to set this up. Am I allowed to put the little treadmill guy in my signature now? If so, I'm not sure how--just put that string of code in my signature? I'm a new and confused one. LOL


    September 2006 Treadmill Challenge:
    15 minutes a day, starting at 1.3 mph
    450 minutes total


    I know that sounds so wimpy. lol I'll explain. I have degenerative disc disease in my back and neck, 4 back surgeries, and severe pain when I overdo it. And I've just started going 5 minutes at that speed and know I can kick up the length of time with no problem, but not the speed yet. I'm looking forward to this challenge.

      30 minutes a day varied based on target heartrate
      900 minutes total

        welcome to the treckies. Nothing sounds whimpy when you start as I said I started doing less then 2MPH and less then 20 min and worked my way up to 60 min of HIIT with the incline at 7.5 and the speed at 7.5 for 30 min of that. We do what we can based on our physical conditon. Now if you could do a marathon and pledged that then we would discuss your wimpiness.

        To add our fellow to your siggy copy and paste the entire string of code

        and remove all 4 of those * marks. to edit your siggy you need to cliick on your User CP in the blue bar at the top of the page. on the left side you will see the words edit siggy click them and then paste it and delete them and hit save and it will be a clickable icon in your siggy too.

        I am planning to do my HIIT 3 days a week, 13 days this month of that and then 45 min of cardio on weight lifting days which gives 13 more days of that for this month for a grand total of 2730 mins for September.

        I did 60 min this moirning

          I am going to commit to 5 miles a day 5 days a week.

                      I want to join, I am going to do 45 minutes a day! I am going to start tomorrow. So that will be 1,260 minutes for this month.

                        welcome back Mel and welcome to all the new treckies.

                        I did my cardiio this morning 45 min and now it is time to go pull weeds from all mothers gardens cause while the rain makes them grow like weeds it also softens the ground so I can pull them out
