    Oops, Jerrica. You put in your 20 minutes? lol, how many miles? BTW, I tried an eliptical for the first time today at the gym. I made it 5 minutes & did .3 miles. Wow, that realllly gives you a good workout. I'm going to work my way up to more time. I had a hard time keeping my heartrate down, in a safe area, when I was doing it. The machine was telling me to slow down, which I did. I went as slow as I could on it but my HR was still in the 180's. :-( Just goes to show you how a person who weighs less can be in worse shape.

    I purchased a walking odometer today and used it, so I'm adding my miles from walking to this now. I picked the odometer up at Walmart for less than $7. I highly recommend it. It also shows calories burnt.

    I got 16 miles in today (14.3 on biking for 40 min's, .3 on eliptical for 5 min's, and 1.57 walking).

      I'm joining in, only because I need some good competition to stay a float in upping my mileage and speed.


      1.10 miles today...
      .5 miles yesterday..

      1.6 miles so far this month...hey! It's a start...and I refuse to even think about you people getting all excited about doing over 10 miles in one day.

        Great to have you in, Lisa! Hey, bikes cover distance faster than walking does. You're 1 mile walking definitely compares to 10 miles on a bike. They both take about the same amount of fast paced exercise to get. You're all good, girl!

        I try to beat my distance from the day before, except when my body (or time) is screaming for a break. I think beating your own record is the best!

            Okay, here is how everyone is doing so far. I still need goal amounts from some of you and I need the minutes changed to miles. Whenever you have them, I will update the chart. Keep in mind this is my first time doing this. I've seen a better chart. I will find it again and make a new one that is easier to read! REMEMBER: It's not about miles it's more about meeting, or beating, your goal and mainly about increasing your exercise.

            DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PASTE AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET IN??? I can't seem to get it to work right, even when I use HTML format.

              i won't be much help with the graph but saty111 does a bang up job. if you can't get one to work right, you might want to bend her ear to see how she did hers.

                Hi everyone,

                I did my 20 again tonight. Profitweb, Richt i took some pics of my console tonight to see what you guys think. I am still waiting on a response from the company. At 5 minutes I had .87 I took pics of the beginning of my exercise with time set on 20 after 10 it was 1.73 at 9.7mph. How do I upload pics to show them to you guys. I hope they email me soon so they can tell me if this is wrong. I thought to take pics after I did 10 minutes so I reset and only did 10 more taking pics to see what you guys think until I get info back from the company. Profitweb it took me a little less than 2 min for .3 That is if my console is keeping track properly. What is the speed you were going. It's driving me crazy waiting for a response. Dont feel bad about struggling, my sis has a hard time doing the elliptical and she is only 115lbs. I guess I am a little strange because this is my machine of choice. My friend, my sis, and my hubby all do not like to work out on it. This work out is more enjoyable to me than using a treadmill, It goes by so quick. Before I got fat I was very athletic. I played softball, basketball, and volleyball and I loved to run. Somewhere between my last 2 children and my husband I lost myself. I have taken care of everyone else for a long time and forgot about me. I guess the only thing I felt like was mine is "my comfort" food. I love my family very much however I finally have realized that I will be a much better mommy and wife if I am happy and fit. I want to go out on the softball and baseball field and laugh and play without feeling embarrassed because of my fat. I used to play basketball with my husband. That was really fun. I am not fun anymore and I want that back. So here I am reclaiming me!!! yay!! Wow that turned into a huge confessional, lol.

                      Jerrica, you are doing fantastic!!!! Are you sore as heck yet??? I was after the first 2 days of getting back into working out. Now that it's been about 7 days, I feel wonderful.

                      I'm gonna get my eliptical time up this month!!! It has got to be the best thing to work out on. I could really feel it. I think I was going about 60-70 rpm and I got .3 miles in 5 minutes on that. Try loading your pics on www.photobucket.com and post the IMG code they give you into the forum. I'm going to try that right now with the spreadsheet picture. I'll get your times put in when you have them. Whatever they are, 20 minutes on the eliptical impresses the heck out of me!

                            Heck ya I do! I think the percentages are the most important thing. I hope to get over my goals a bit or at least reach them. I hope everyone else (who isn't injured) will shoot for their goal too. Watch out, it could turn into grades!!!

                                Here are the pics of my elliptical tainer console while I was working out. Sorry they are not the best but I was trying to keep my balance while keeping pace, and take a picture, lol. It wasn't easy The time counts from 20 down. This pic that has 19 minutes and something is the one I took as soon as I started my work out. The mph is 9. whatever it did not turn out. If you look at the others you can see it clearly. Tell me what you guys think. The 3rd box at the top from left to right is distance. Bottom is speed. The one that says 9 minutes and something is after I did 10 minutes. I do think it covers more distance faster than a treadmill, or walking because It to me is like riding a bike only standing and harder. You cover a lot of distance on a bike but slower on an elliptical. Did that make any since Whewwwwwwww!
