    Ok, I'm in....I am finishing up the Sept. challenge, and I did not make it at all. Now, I exercised 6 days a week, but because we started hiking, I had to back the bike off to 6 miles, 3 days a week...my fitness level was not as high as my desires...So it looks like I really blew it..But we have been hiking woods, and biking new paths, and until i get all the fatigue out of my legs, I can't afford burn out or injury... I did 180 miles the first month, but I started to shift my exercise around and tried many different things instead of just racking up milage on the bike...
    I took a good friend out on the mulberry loop and we did 4.4 mi on the bikes today, it was great...then I just dropped by and did another loop...2.2mi
    So, I am going for 100 miles in Oct.

          I do believe my goal is 45 miles. That is 1.5 per day for M-FR. Sound right?

              Ok here I go joining my first challenge since my restart... I will do 60 miles in October
              SW 262, CW 248, GW 165

              1st Goal - 235lbs
              2nd Goal - 220lbs
              3rd Goal - 205lbs
              4th Goal - 190lbs
              5th Goal - 175lbs
              Ultimate Goal - 165lbs

                  Count me in for 75 miles; I'm still in the flights challege counting steps climbed - now I get to count the going back down as mileage, right? Plus, I typically do a lot of walking this time of year, this time will do wearing my pedometer.


                  Only question -what is the best way to get an accurate count on a pedometer that occasionally registers steps taken for bending over, scooting in your chair, or standing up/sitting down?

                              I had extra time in my day and did one mile on the elliptical for a total of 3/50 miles.
