    October 2 1 mile 30 more to go And boy did I realize how out of shape I really was just from 1 mile!!!

      Tues. morning, Hey all...My husband gave me a new bike for my 50th birthday that is 5 months away! It was a great bike, at a closeout price...very cool indeed..
      I rode 4.4 miles this morning and expect to go with a few friends and repeat it today later in the afternoon...yiipppeeeeeee

          Ok call me crazy, I just rode a second time today, and rode 6.6 miles on my new bike, that makes 11miles for the day...plus we have the stomach bug!!!
          diaherreah.....so like I said call me crazy...my husband is furious with me for over doing it, I promise to be quiet tomorrow, and go slower.

                      We have 23 MEMBERS in the Mileage Challenge right now. Welcome everyone!!! We are still open if anyone else would like to join.

                      Congrats to everyone that is on their way and entering miles. So far Jimmy 48, BoxerMom, believe, 1poundatatime, tachielyn, Stickin2it, Outback Jess, ttdriver, boonie stomper, julirama, 13 jane, rosecat200, & Richt have miles logged!!!! For all you who don't have any miles logged IT'S TIME TO GET EXERCISING! I say this to myself too (I have an upper respitory infection right now, but I'm gonna start making my miles up tomorrow). KEEP LOGGING & STICK TO YOUR GOAL. I will post a chart soon. I hope everyone has miles on it when it goes up.

                      Richt and Horsenpuggy, I need your goals for the month.

                            I can't believe it myself, but I actually got up early to exercise this morning. Going to the gym after work has been taking up too much of my family time in the evenings. DH not complaining yet, but I can tell it's a strain....

                            At any rate, I got 2.56 more miles in on my ski machine!

                                I'm so sorry. I have you on the chart correctly but just glossed over my good buddy's (you) name. Duh!!!! Keep up the good work and remember to bonk me on the head when necessary, like now.

                                I have the same problem and tend to feel guilty about taking so much time to exercise. However, exercise is something we need to do for ourselves and our families. You need to take time for yourself to do this. Try to talk to your DH and thank him for the support he gives. Let him know it is important to you. It may put more responsibility on him, but if your DH is anything like mine, he's probably taken time for himself to do sports or hang with the guys and he understands more than you think. Women need to take time for themselves too! It may take some adjustments for everyone, but you can do this.
