    TogoGirl, so sorry to hear about your accident. You're a trooper to even be doing water aerobics. I hope you're feeling better soon...

    Kat, you said it was too tough to get completely through, but how did you like it? Were the steps easy to follow (even if hard to endure)? How do you think it compares to other WATP videos?

    Good for you Tam and qbu! Am doing the brisk WATP brisk 2 mile walk after I get the kiddos in bed.

      November 4 - Pilates Maximum Burn Basics

      Again, haven't done this one in quite a while. It doesn't look hard, but WOW you can sure feel it!

            I could get in the starting position and do a few of the exercises, but not the whole set. It seems a short workout, but tough. I'm not that limber so this will really get me going if I can master these moves. There are only a few. But, yes, I like it and if I get this one mastered, then I'll move up to Mari's version since it seems to have a few more moves in it.

            It is totally different from the other WATP DVDs that I have since they all involve walking -- this is the first one I got with Leslie doing floor work.

            Do you have this DVD too or just thinking about getting it?

                I've been dragging my feet lately, but not today!! I got two videos in.

                Turbo Jam Ab Jam - 20mins
                Self: Bikini Ready Fast! - 30mins (it's a resistance training total body workout, very intense) w/ 4lb weights

                So that puts me at 3/20 videos for the month.

                Sorry to hear about the accident Toga!! Get better soon! I'm glad you are ok.

                    Saturdays video was Denise Austin's Ultimate Fat Burner--it would be better titled as Ultimate @$$ kicker. I'm trying to shake things up by trying different videos that are collecting dust. Once I master something I like to stick with it because it's comfortable but that is my biggest pitfall to not challenge myself. I might try my Leslie Pilates so I can compare notes with Kat. If it is a sitting video I should do just fine because I'm a great sitter.

                        I took a rest day from organized exercise. Had lots of physical work to do around here though.

                        Good news is...

                          I just tried Leslie's pilates DVD. My neck hurts from stretching it forward like a turtle. I think this will be a good stretching video to do after something more serious or I will save it for a rest/easy day. My dogs enjoyed it more than me--one of them thought the yoga mat was for her until I kicked her off. The other dog decided to sit on the back of my head when I was laying on my belly. The next time I do this they are going in their crate. I've never tried pilates but it's tough for a pear shaped person. It's very hard to lay flat on your side when you have bumpy hips.

                            Val, try those neck stretches from Debbie (remember her?) maybe will work out those kinks in the neck???
                            I hear ya on the dogs and the mat LOL. I have to kick my Golden out of the room when I workout. He makes himself right at home!

                              Slim and Limber completed for today...feeling a bit sore from the pilates yesterday...but needed to get exercise in.

                              I can relate with the dogs coming in when you're exercising. I have 2 Jack Russells who just love to be with me. I make sure the door to the room is closed before I start, otherwise, they're both in trying to 'help' me out. Gotta love them though!

                                Great work, everyone!

                                I didn't get mine in last night as planned b/c after a "fight" with my 4 1/2 year old daughter (sadly, I think she won....), I felt so drained that I went to sleep almost immediately. But, I did Leslie's Brisk 2 Mile today.

                                Had a weird eating day today. Nothing illegal, but only one "real" meal. Just grazed otherwise. And not enough water. Weekends are harder for me to say on track.
