      No ball work this weekend, but I did 20 minutes of stretches, upperbody work this morning.

      On the sad news, my office stability ball is gone! We've had a rash of thievery the past couple of months, but mostly it's expensive lab equipment or laptop computers. Who would have guessed that someone would want my stability ball?!?!? I'm gonna buy a new one & this time write all over it to hopefully prevent it from leaving again. Sheesh!
      HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
      Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

        maybe the good side of the stab ball stealing is that someone needed to get in shape and you're helping them on to a better way of life!

              25 min today.
              Jo - you're not kidding about those bridges! I tried them for the first time today! OMG!
              I found the ones where you turn your legs so the inside are facing up are easier than regular bridges.

                oh cynthia, the ones on this tape are horrid. lol
                i don't know if i can explain them or not.

                laying on your back with your feet and the bottom part of your leg on the ball. raise up for the bridge then back down. she does this 4 times. then you raise up, roll the ball towards your butt, roll it back out and lower yourself. AND IF THAT ISN'T HARD ENOUGH....
                lift one leg off the ball in what she calls a table pose. basically the knee is bent. now go up, roll the ball to your butt, roll it out and lower to the floor.

                my gosh those are hard!

                  I was doing something I recorded off of fittv. The bridges sound just like I was doing ecept fit the one legged stuff!

                    cyn, you have fit tv? so do i. i haven't taken any time to see what's offered on it though. this program was featured on the on demand channel with the previous cable comapany. i guess i should look to see if anything for the stab. ball is offered on this fit tv..

                      Those do sound hard! I'm gonna have to try it tomorrow and hopefully I can do 1 or 2.

                      This morning, I did 15 minutes of stretches, crunches, and lower body moves.

                          Jo, I do have fittv. I haven't seen any shows on just the stability ball, but once in a while I'm lucky enough to have it on when one of the shows is doing a stability ball episode. Two of the series I've seen that have a stability ball episode are Sharon Mann and Caribean Workout. I haven't checked to see if they have a web site that might tell what comes on when

                            Whoa! I tried to do those bridge things...they are HARD!! I can do the first part ok, but the second part where you try to bring the ball toward your butt when you're raised, that's difficult. Then I tried the third part....that's darn near impossible! I'm gonna keep at it though!!

                            This morning, I did 20 minutes worth of exercises.
