                      What steps do you guys count? I see some days posted as "0" and of course you must have taken some steps just to head for the potty....
                      I'm still trying to figure out my pedometer, but I'm keeping an eye on you guys; maybe join in february.....





                      290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

                        Two new "steppers"... yippee!!! Welcome to you both!

                        Chicklady, with the amount we drink, most of our steps come from running to the potty!

                        I just put my pedometer on in the morning, take it off at night and note the total. That's what most of us do.

                        Jimmie will explain her system... she only counts certain "walks" and at the moment is counting something else - pedalling if I remember right, which registers on her pedometer too - as it's cold outside for walking (is that right Jimmie?).

                          Thankyou for your welcome. I have my pedometer on now, I will write down my steps from sun.

                          I hope to walk 7,500 steps with my goal being 10,000, per day.

                            Ladies, it has been great to step it off with you these past few months but I am going to take a break from the inclement weather. I will ride my recumbent bike until the weather warms a little. Nice to see we have some new additions. I will check back in from time to time. Keep up the good work everybody.

                              brady, you know i look forward to any and all updates from you [[[[brady]]]]

                              yes, sally explained my "steps" pretty good! thanks sal!

                              this gal is not getting out in the cold and when it's a warm day, such as today, the snow has melted and the path is horribly muddy. i discovered that if i clip my pedometer to the bottom of my shorts pant leg, directly in line with my toes/knee, that each time the pedal of my bike makes one revolution, i get counted a step. it won't count for both legs so i double my count and that becomes my "steps" for the day.
                              when it gets warm and the path is walkable, i'll be back to counting normal steps.
