          welcome to our world of stepping, vin!

          finally, a dry day. but alas, my pedometer is being wacky. i walked the same distance, the same time as on sunday and today the pedometer said 5004 steps. on sunday it was 3910. sheesh. so i'll just take the 3910 for today. i think i may have to get another pedometer.

              I'm still syringe feeding maggie but last night she took some tuna from my fingers...sounds like a little thing but I musta looked like a dork...whoo-hoo inggggg...lol
              she goes to her bowl like she wants to eat but still walks away..I'm hoping it'll be soon because she's been fighting me all this past week...

                Jimmie, my pedometer whacks out on me every once in awhile too. It's really annoying. I keep a log for the distances and routes. When it really goes haywire, I look at the log and take a low/average for that distance. The worst was a day I walked 9 miles and ot shower something like 2300 steps. Yeah right!

                If you go looking for a new one, my favorite one is a 25-30 dollar one from Oregon Scientific. It really grabs on so you can't lose it (My cheapy here falls off when I am bending over in golf), adjust to your stride, is VERY reliable and even has an emergency shriek alarm that works really well (when I first got it I opened it by accident on the city bus and it is loud).

                      A little hot tonight, but I got in a good walk. Hope Maggie's still eating for you Char. I just finished a couple of days with a baby bird (he was an injured fledgling but he took off today, for good) and it felt like nonstop feeding. I can't imagine having to tube feed.

                          I cleaned house all day and was bored with my usual route so I had my DS go with me to the grocery store. He drove the groceries home and I walked. Made for a nice change of route.

                                sal, i know you are looking at numbers but i really kinda figure you got those extra 40 steps in.

                                walked the same path, shaved 2 minutes off our time and ended up with 300 less steps. i'm sure my stride was a bit longer this time around.
