    Good Morning All - I am pretty sure I still have a jump rope - is it too late to join up with you ladies (as I am a gluten for punishment and like to hit myself in the head with ropes )... Since this seems to be alot harder than it sounds and I am not much of an exceriser (okay I am a former couch potato until this past weekend) can I commit to 45 minutes this month and I will go for more in March if you are still doing this challenge.

        well the guy i bought off at ebay said

        "its a chinese festival in hong kong at moment, take 16 days for delivery..."

        He coulda told me that in the listing rather than waiting til i paid!! guess i better wait til i receive the thing to add my goal!

            Guys, I'm changing my month to all of 30 minutes. My goal is going to go from the disaster I am now, to being able to do a minute straight-no breaks-which I don't come NEAR being able to do. My tops so far has been 22 jumps in a row. That is ridiculously low and I can't even repeat it back to back.
            Childhood memories gave me a flase sense of ability! But by the trime I reach my goal weight I wanna jump rope for as long as I want without even thinking about it!





            290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

                Hey Chicklady - I think that is sensible rather than giving up and not reporting Kudos to you.

                You'll be doing great by goal - you'll be able to go on tour

                      LOL! When I signed up for this challenge I thought to myself - thank goodness at least no one had come up with a Hula Hoop challenge - then I saw Alexa's message. My youngest daughter has one and go the speed of light - I tried and failed miserably -- I think I saw a warning disclaimer on it that said if over 40 don't attempt

                        My husband already laughs at my antics. I can just see it if I get a hula hoop. Heck, we can cancel cable; better entertainment can't be had on tv

                          I tried to jump in my pyjamas , ie without my bra on last night!! big mistake!! god it hurt like mad!!! lol so only managed 2 minutes - (thats 2 x 1 minute jumping!!)


                          Hey I managed 25 mins on my hula hoop last night!! ribs are a tad sore - so its working something!!! hehe!!!

                            Wow Jane! 25 mins hula-hooping is amazing! Was it to that woman's dvd thing?

                            Yay on starting skipping too - but yeah, bra is pretty essential

                            I should get my rope tonight, fingers crossed

                                Dont ask me how - but I've lost the dvd in work!!!! It was on my desk one minute, and gone the next!!! I've searched high and low for it!! I think I've put it in a file and put the file back or something!!! lol So last night it was to cheesy music on sky!!! lol
