    Charks - here is a link. It's called the Exertec Fitness and is just basically the pedal portion of an exercise bike... which I really like as its pretty compact and portable for me. It has built-in digital counter for speed, time, distance and calories. It has a tension strap that when I put it all the way to tight - wasn't able to move the pedals --- so I know that sucker works We just don't have the room in our house for me to buy anything large or bulky... plus as I said I am able to use it at work during my lunch hour.

    (wow - I sound like a infomercial for the product don't I )

              Thanks Mel I'm gonna look into it,I have the cardio cruiser by Jake..yes I got sucked into the infomercial.. I think it might be kinda something like it the cruiser is a chair you sit in but you use your arms and legs..not just your legs

                          Alexa, I hope you are feeling better soon! It is no fun being sick. I have my share this year as well. We will see you here when you are better!

                          Another 15 miles in this morning. I found that my ipod really helps keep up the tempo. It quit on me part way through and then I noticed that I had to go a little longer to get the same miles in.

                          Well, we are half way through the month and it looks like we have lots of people really doing well. Keep up the good work! For those that are lagging a little behind, you still have time to make it up. So lace up your Nikes, and Just do it!

                                don and i along with myjack reading off numbers to me, compared our notes and i thought it best to put a tally of your miles. i'm never sure of when Lady Hawke will fly by so this is for your use to see how close or far away you are from your commitment.
