    Started my May Mileage challenge this morning.

    Did 6 miles on my elliptical. planning to do more in the evening.

      Okay, I am new and I am not sure if I am saying this right, but I will challenge myself to get to 50 miles with the walking, elliptical, stationary bike.

      Is this right?

      After looking at you guys stats, I think I will add:
      100 pushups
      100 abs

      It's a start

            OK, we are off and running this month! Or biking, or walking! LOL

            I will be updating the list on Saturday when I return from vacation, so there is still plenty of time to join in.

            I got in 10 miles this morning at the hotel on the bike. We are in Vancouver and I am sure that I will get lots of mileage in today walking as well.

                  I am off for a week, and I am planning to exercise 60-90 minutes most days of the week! I did 90 minutes on the elliptical 18 miles in total! yes!18/200

                      In this thread, do I update how many I am doing everyday or do I do it weekly or how do you guys do it? Thanks a lot! I don't even know how you guys get those cool signs, like the ones that say, Owl Rung 3 or something??

                        let me take a stab at this.
                        update each time you add some miles. it is quite helpful if you state the date and the miles.
                        example:

                        may 2
                        5 miles

                        it won't be necessary to keep a running total yourself. that's why you have don leading the challenge. he will keep the miles on his excell program and provide you with updates periodically.

                          I was terrible in April because of illness, so aiming a little lower for running miles only = 20.

                              This is my first time, I hope that I have set my goals not too low or too high, I am so new to all this and it's fun and exciting!

                              Hi,
                              I have decided to move my miles up to 100 instead of 50 for biking as I realized that I needed to set my goal higher. I hope this doesn't mess anything up!!
