      Re: Triathalon

So we'll add 5 miles to the initial 30 every week? I might end up with more that 30 by the end. :P

Erm... yeah, sorry, was looking at Adena's... Gosh, I really need to get a grip on things. I'm still really bouncy/happy about the interview business. I can barely sit still...

            Re: Triathalon

I've got the fear in a good way.

I've just realised I am doing run/walking for c25k - can I count all of this as 1)don't have the skills/time to run run 30 miles and 2)am too dumb to work out miles run and miles walked (as I am going on timings). ??

              Re: Triathalon

Alexa, I had the same problem when I decided to do the running business. How on earth was I going to run 30 miles (and stay alive) and, assuming my survival, how was I going to count how many are ran and how many walked??? But yesterday when I went running (I run on the street, around midnight, so it's just me and some drunk guys) I made a plan - walk from street X1 to street X2, then run from street X2 to street X3, then walk and so on. When I increase the distance, I have to run at least one street more. This way I can use Google Maps or GMaps Pedometer (Lyssie's tip ) to find distances.

Um. Yes. I believe the first post will clarify where the mileage needs to come from, and I think walking is in the list.

Thanks Georgiana! Very smart. I think as Lyssie says walking is on the list I'll be ok.

Thanks Lyssie! I am hoping to have phased it our by the end, as per C25K.

                    Re: Triathalon

Hi, ladies. Can I play too? I actually do triathlons, the swim bike run variety. I signed up for an Olympic distance all-woman event in Las Vegas in May, and I need to get my act together. Also signed up for the Disney Princess half marathon in March. So my three activities will be swim, bike, and run! Thanks for the group!
