  • December Stability Ball Challenge

    Exercises that count in this challenge include, but are NOT limited to:

    lying hamstring curls
    tricep extensions
    reverse crunches
    lying leg press
    push ups
    jackknife
    stretching
    slow swim
    side plank
    seated leg extension
    bridge ball squats
    1 arm rows
    stability ball exercise tapes/DVD's

    Basically, any exercise that you do, using your stability ball will count.

    Check out the YouTube site for more exercise using your stability ball.

    STABILITY BALL RECOMMENDATIONS

    Please state how many minutes you are committing to for the month, in this thread and then during the month try to check in each time you rack up the minutes. Please check in at least twice a week and state the days you worked out along with its minutes.

      I'm also in. I've never done this before so it's hard to say how many minutes I'll do, but 400 sounds reasonable.

        300 for me, bio!

        georgiana, i think the 400 is very doable if you've been doing some ball work already. most of us doing this challenge have done more, less and somewhere in between depending on life and other challenges. glad to have you with us!

              Glad to have you with us, Georgiana! 400 is doable and I have done more in a month, but since I know I'll be super busy later in the month, I've reduced my minutes. Feel free to make adjustments if necessary. You may get addicted to the ball like the rest of us.

                    Hi Everyone!!!!!!!! (Waving Like and excited little kid!!!)

                    I sure have missed being part of this group and Yes the ball as well! I go back to the doc for my wrist on the 9th and am hoping for the go ahead with Life! I'm still a little sore but I think ready to get back on track! Bio put me in for 200 this month and I will work towards more! Thanks Again Jo for the donalted Minutes last month! Your awesome! Gorgiana welcome to the ball crew we have a blast here in our little clan! Can't wait to get started again!~

                        I'm so glad you're back, Heidi!!! I was worried about you and the surgery. *hugs*

                        Sorry my presence has been lacking the past few days. We are winding down the semester and most days are just pandemonium with last minutes projects, assignments, exams, and grading. Ugh!!! I will be celebrating Dec 18th b/c that's the date of the last final!! Grades are due the following week, but I will have help in grading and entering grades into the computer.
