  • Slim in Six

    Is there aynone else out there that is doing the slim in six videos? I started this morning and was hoping if there are more of you doing it we can start a little challenge together. If you are interested let me know and we will see who does it and how much weight or how many sizes we loose.
    Start Date 3-28-05 I did Start it Up Today
    Start Weight 227
    Start Size 16 to an 18.

    Hope to have someone else keep me honest with this.

    Hi!
    I am doing Sin6 as well. Though I am starting today, Tues 3/29. I have tried before but never completed the whole program.
    I would love to keep in touch with you so we can help motivate each other. I really want to finish the whole thing this time! I love the workouts anyway, they are really effective.

      I am so glad that you joined me!!! I did the first video yesterday and was so proud o myself and I felt great no pain at all I thought to myself I am in better shape then I thought. Well this morning i got up to go to the restroom and thought I am only up thirth minutes earlier then the alarm maybe I will just stay up and do my video now. Well that was a great idea untill I stood up and just about collapsed my legs hurt so bad.LOL Maybe I am not in that great of shape. I streached a lot this morning but skipped the video. I will do it again tomorrow morning and see if I can make it two days in a row this time. I am totally commited to making it through the entire program just may take me a few days to get started lol.

        Thanks to you too. I think it will help us keep on track!

        My workout went really great yesterday though my diet did not. I am really having a hard time doing a clean induction, but I'll get there eventually.

        I know exactly what you mean, I am so sore it seems like a lot to do the tape again today. I'm gonna push thru and just march in place if it gets too hard.

        I'll be thinking of you as I workout today, and I'll check in again tomorrow. Just think of how great were gonna look ing 6 weeks!

          Hi Mychelle,
          I did Start it up yesterday as planned. I will do it again today!

          My muscles were so weak yesterday I could barely pick up my daughter. I felt so tired all over.

            I'm doing crappy!!! :no I couldn't even make myself get up this morning to work out. I feel better(stayed on plan 100% yesterday) and my legs don't hurt I just had no energy. I think some of it is because my DH had a soccer game last night at 9:30 and me and my son went to watch and it was a really close really intense game so we were all riled up and then he went out with some friends and I can never sleep when he is gone. So anyway I don't think i slept very well but that's really not an excuse. I will try to get in my workout tonight, we are supposed to coach a soccer practice tonight and I will play with my team some if we can but it is supposed to snow this afternoon, if it does snow I will do the video when I get home from work. I will start working out more I have to!!!

            Sorry to blab for so long.
            Congrats on sticking to it!!

              Well I did it!!!! :icondance I got up this morning and did my video. It was so hard!!!!! I kept thinking I will never finish this but I did and I did the entire Ab work out which I hadn't been able to make it through before Yippee for me!!! How are you doing? Hope you have a great weekend. I don't usually check in much over the weekend, so if If I don't talk to you untill Monday, Stay strong and we can make it through 5 more weeks( I actually think I am going to do 6 more weeks since this wea just kinda a warm up week for me lol) Happy April Fools Day !!!!

                Good for you!! The ab video is really hard.

                I made it thru yesterday's workout...barely.

                I am going to take a day off today. I"ll check in with you again on Monday.

                        restarting

                        Well I blew it last week. I was sick for some of the week and tired for the rest of it so I didn't do anything I was supposed to. So I will do the video when I get home today and will start getting up each morning and doing it. I don't know why I quit I feel so great when i work out before I go to work so I will use that motivation to get up each morning this week and do it. I can't promise that I will for the next six weeks but I can promise myself that for four days I will be strong and do this like I should.

                          Well this week isnt starting out to well either we had soccer monday night so I didn't exercise that morning because I didn't want to be sore and by the next morning I had the stomach flu!!! I am going to restart tomorrow no matter how hard it it. There is six weeks untill my birthday and i will work out each day untill then and loose at least 20 pounds. Here I am to recommit myself to my exercising.

                            Hello ladies!!

                            I just ordered the program and as soon as I receive it, I will get started. I can hardly wait! I am very, very determined to get slim in 6 weeks.

                            I will do it every day no matter how hard it may be or how much I'll feel like dying. I know I'll feel like dying initially because starting out is always very hard.

                            I remember last summer when I did my clean induction successfully, worked out every day and did the exercise challenge and lost over 25 lbs in what seemed a very short amount of time. I was very happy with the results, to say the least!

                            But I also remember the pain I suffered through, the exhaustion and lack of energy that tried to get me down. I say "tried", because I stubbornly picked myself up and exercised even if only for 15 minutes at a time just to be able to adjust to the new routine. See, before that, I hadn't really exercised much and led a mostly sedentary lifestyle.

                            Well, as I was making myself exercise regardless of the pain and drain and if only in short spurts to start out, I was becoming much stronger!!

                            Heck, the following weeks were much, much easier. My self-esteem was greatly boosted and that in itself made me want to do it more!! It was almost addicting.

                            I remember what that felt like and I desperately want it back.

                            So, in addition to coming back into the forums here and restarting with a clean induction, I'm taking part in the exercise challenge and will be doing the Slim in 6 shortly.

                            It'll be great to check into this topic with you as we journey to better ourselves together.

                              well I wish you good luck!!!!! Maybe we can keep each other going!!!!
                              I'll check in tomorrow and let you know how my first morning back at it (after all my illness kept me from working out) goes, and how sore I am.
