Well the verdict is in. I just did my five mile run.

The under armour compression shorts: fabulous, didn't even know they were on except I felt cool.

The top was real light and cool as well. Still had a bit of the irritation but like iapetus99 said it might be the level of sweat as well. I saw some stuff in the running store for chafing, and I might give that a try.

    Money well spent, so far.
    Jim

Yes I'm eating a smore in the picture, how do you think I got so fat?

Better be careful Jim... one day, thinking you have them on, you may accidentally leave home without them if they are THAT comfy! LMAO

My favorite running clothes are a sports bra lined with cool max and bike shorts. I hate floppy shorts ...! I agree they are pricey, but heck, they last forever and I wear the daylights out of 'em!!

This one is my favorite outfit:

Add in my New Balance 1221s and I'm raring to go! :guns

I have to wear two bras (an athletic bra and a regular) and a running top with a shelf bra. So, cool max fabrics all the way. I just learned about the double bra thing a couple of weeks ago and man, it makes all the difference.

I recommend "Body Glide" for chafing. It comes in a stick like deodorant, so you can apply it easily without getting your hands greasy. It doesn't rub off on clothes, and it doesn't really feel like anything either (not like vaseline or Aquafor, etc.)
