Totally forgot to post about something really cool. On father's day during my ten mile run I was on my last .5 mile on the wooded section of my street and up ahead of me a doe and her fawn, and then another doe crossed the street in front of me. They stopped, looked at me, and kept going. It was pretty cool.

Hopefully gonna get a 5 miler in today, temp is climbing, and I gotta wait for DW to get home with my oldest before I can go. I wanna do another 10 miler this weekend. I think the shirt is coming off for it though last time my shirt ended up being a bloody mess. I also have my first few runners trophies on my toes, oh well.

6min 45 sec-- Age 17--not even a race, I was just mad as **** about something. I even beat some of the guys on that first mile. The coach told me he was going to try to piss me off before every race from then on.-lol

Jim, your bloody shirt comment kinda frees me to ask the ladies a question I was a little squemish about asking here instead of the womens forum. (I am a southern girl what can I say) What kind of sports bras do you wear? The one I am currently wearing is irritating me around the bottom band. thanks.--you can pm me or I will ask this in the womens forum as well, just wanted the opinion of girls here specifically.

I'm glad I could be of assistance. LOL

The wife keeps telling me to wear bandaids but I just don't think so.

Lower body weight day for me. It's stinkin' hot again. Supposed to be over 40C by tomorrow with the humidity. Yuck. I'll do my running early tomorrow, that's for sure. We're taking our kids into the city tomorrow (Toronto) for the weekend. Today is their sixteenth birthday! (We have twins, boy and girl) It's gonna be fun shopping at vintage clothing stores and cool alternative type clothing stores! We live out in the country and they just can't find stuff like that anywhere near here. Have a great weekend!

I tried to run last night, started a five miler and DW pulls up next to me and says get in. So I only got about 1.3 miles in.

But I did a 10 miler this morning, had some troubles and had to walk some near the end. Had to stop for water at the halfway point. So needless to say my time wasn't the best at 1:46:41. But I completed it and I feel pretty good now.

And adding up my mileage for the week, I ran a marathon, 2 tens, a 5, and a 1.3, that's 26.3 miles just over marathon distance. Funny coincidence.
