The RICE method works the best for pain and soreness .. rest, ice, compression, elevation .. let your body recover between runs and you'll be much happier (and in less pain...)
After my long runs, sometimes, I just hop in the bathtub and get into some cool water which helps take down the post-run inflammation ..
If you can, avoid running on concrete .. its the absolute WORST on the joints and your shoes will wear out alot sooner ...

It was so daggone tough running today ... Only 4 miles done and I'm bummed.
. Any suggestions would be great.
