so I LOVE hula hooping, I make my own weighted (2-7lb) hoops and hoop(Dance,do tricks) for a total of about 2 hours every day, am I achieving any real excersize by doing this??just curious

well see the thing that makes me think I might be burning calories is that I don't stand still, I basicaly treat it like an areobic activity. I put on some fast electronica music and dance my heart out while I'm hula hooping. I just can't seem to find any information about it online.

I am so jazzed - I think hula hoopin' is a great idea. If you are getting your heart rate up - it should do some good. Maybe it will take care of my middle that just wants to hang on to those handles (not love handles but HATE handles auuggghhh!)
