Barbiebabe and Turner you both look awesome NOW! Just wait till the end of 6 weeks!!

Again, Brook, thanks so much for all the time effort and what a great idea to do this challenge.

I completed BIU again this morning. I wasn't sore this morning, big surprise. SIU is the one that makes me sore every time! I did have A LOT of problems balancing doing those stupid lunge things, darn squat ****! I still like BIU better than RIU. I know, I'm psycho.

I also have Keep it Up (I think thats the name) but I haven't even taken that out of the package yet. Does anybody know anything about that workout? It comes after BIU. Is it even more difficult?

I'm still loving that Debbie seems to tire during BIU. Who would've thought she was human? I'm still getting a kick out of watching their faces during the punching routine. Sherry (is that her name?) really needs to put more effort into her triceps, we've been doing this for 2 days in a row now and she still wimps out, lol. I still dread when we come to the a$$cramper part of the routine. I could swear I hear the "Hallelujah Chorus" when she says its time for stretch & yoga. Maybe thats only in my head.

      Morning ladies,

      Burn It Up Done

      Turner: great pic's!!

Brook: no, not really grumpy...I mean who could be grumpy looking at Debbie's cute dimpled face, huh? And I agree with Yoly, I really appreicate all of the time you've put into the challenge too!

Yoly: very true about the challenge part, it's supposed to be hurting...that's how you know it's working !!

FG: I'm hearing the Hallelujah Chorus, too...huh!

Oh man Burned it Up! That sucker is hard!!! I got through almost all of it, I only marched through four of the forward lunges on each side, also I took a short break on the right side @sscrampers. But good news, I got through the second leg (left side) all the way with no breaks!!! Hmm, I wonder if my left butt cheeck is stronger then my right one, lol, I needed a break on the rigth side.

Oh FG, I"m hearing the helleluja chorus myself, that makes three.

I might take the day off tomorrow for Thanksgiving, not sure though. Anyone out there doing Slim in 6 tomorrow?

OMG, I jut noticed I am 1/3 of the way done with my workouts! Holy cow!!! Woohoo!

I am definitely NOT taking the day off tomorrow with SI6. I figure I have to get up early anyway to put the bird in the oven. I'll do that then I'm doing BIU, Lord help me!! Then, I'll probably go back to bed, lol

Yoly: I am definitely doing SI6 tomorrow! I hope it will rev up my metabolism so that Mama's dressing won't make such a dent in my progress. I am taking LC brocolli salad and LC brocolli casserole for my share. I plan to load up on those two along with turkey so maybe I won't have room for too much dressing.

I went on-line to Target and signed up for a "tuck you in" call on Thursday and a "wake up" call on Friday for Mama. I hope Daddy doesn't answer and think that she is up to something. We did this about 2 years ago and she thought it was an obscene phone call.

I haven't been doing the resistance bands because I do weight training at the gym. Do you think that it would be okay to add the bands part of the workout? What I am asking is if anyone thinks that would mess up my "rest" day between my gym workout.

Thanks for saying my pic was good. This is the first time that I have ever posted something embarassing on the web. I hope that none of my class parents happen in on this site. Maybe they wouldn't recognize me without my teacher clothes on. The butt shot is absolutely awful. This was the first time that I realize that, from behind, I look like a man! And back rolls! Ugh! Come on and work, SI6! I'm just glad to know that I will not look worse in 6 (oh, it is 5 now) weeks!

I've done part of the Keep It Up before. It's about the same speed as BIU.

Another challenge already? Well, I've got the Power 90 series, Power You, Slim Series (I think that is what it is called with Tone It Up and several other videos that came with it), and some other series from Beachbody. I can't remember the name and I am too lazy to go look, but it is a series of four videos with something about Thin Thighs and something about butt, abs, and arms. I am willing to do these or go through another 6 weeks of SIS.

Check you all out this morning!

I'm sitting here all stuffed up again, chugging down some water, blowing my nose and feeling whiney. LOL I'm going to do about 30 minutes of housework and then I'm gonna go BIU.

              Thanks Yoly, FG, and Shelly

Turner...we look pretty similarly built to me. How tall are you?!

That's my beginning shot. Figured being you all posted yours in here, I'd post mine in the thread too. I already like my first week's progress photos better. LOL

Completed BIU, and it was a bit more of a challenge, as TOM is with me now, so I was moving a little slower, but got through the whole thing regardless! It's amazing how persistance works eh? BTW, you ladies in the bikini's look awesome! Don't think I've worn a bikini since I was 5 years old, and probably never will in public, even at my goal weight, as I have a horrible scar from gall bladder surgery done over 25 years ago, the old fashioned way! Oh well a nice, revealing, sexy one piece will have to do!!!

Well, if I hear from any of you that you will not be offended, I will post the behind shot. I must warn you that it is brutal and skimpy. It's not skimpy because of the way the suit it cut. It's skimpy because my big fat *ss has it stretched to the max. The front shot was okay, the side shot was "What's that? A beer gut!!!" The back shot looks like my daddy (except he wouldn't wear a bikini) I wore that so that I could see just how awful the truth is. I mean, when I look at myself in the mirror it is not painful. And no, the camera does not add 10 pounds.

                  Brook:
I'm 5'2" and 136.6 pounds as of today. I have always been around 118 until the last five years. I have been as small as 102 (due to a painful divorce) and as much as 144 (due to too much good southern cookin') All of the sudden I was 133 then 137 and then 144. That's when I said that enough is enough!! I look back and think about when I thought that 118 was fat. I actually tried to talk my doctor into giving me prescription diet pills. Oh, to be 118 again.

BTW, a nice revealing one piece is really sexy.

Turner: Can I borrow your pictures? We have similar body shapes. The only difference is that I don't have any breast meat.

It takes courage to post pictures for the whole world to see. You gals rock. I need to figure out how to post mine. I still haven't taken my before shots because I'm afraid to face reality but this is the weekend to get it done.

I will be doing RIU tomorrow am. No break from Si6 because I am less likely to overeat when I've taken the time to exercise. Just for good measure, I should do a zillion push ups so my arms get weak and I am to worn out to feed myself tomorrow.

Has anyone checked their measurements to see if they are losing inches? I feel smaller but the lack of oxygen to my brain from the ab work might be misleading me.

                    Happy Thanksgiving to all.

                      LOL Val. I hear ya!

Well, I just finished BIU. It was really tough to get through for me today and it sucked eggs bigtime. I had to modify the heck out of a couple of areas and just resort to marching in place a couple of times. I still burned 540 calories according to my heart rate moniter. Lots going on today and my heart just wasn't it in, although it was great for stress relief.

Well since everyone else seems to be working out tomorrow, I guess I will too. Sigh, I was really hoping you guys would take a day off, oh well no rest for the weary.

I haven't taken my measurements, seems a little someone took my measuring tape as a toy and it is now lost somewhere in the house, grrr! But I can tell that I've lost alot! on my waist. It is a lot smaller, I wish I could measure! I'm gonna have to figure something out, maybe a string that I could then measure with the jon's measuring tape, you know those metal ones, lol. I bet it would hurt to get that thing around me, ouch!

Ramped it up - Worked a lot harder today, so we'll see what I feel like tomorrow. I'm definitely planning on working out tomorrow - I may even try to do something in the morning and at night, since I won't have to work.

The thing I find amazing about Si6 is how quickly you improve. Just 5 days ago I thought I was going to die after SIU, and now RIU is already getting easy (well, not exactly easy, but at least bearable!)
