Re: ~*~*~*~SI6 Vidiots- House of Pain~*~*~*~

I'm doing great. I've been on this board forever, so I feel like I already know all of you guys, but I rarely post cause I've never had much to say. But somehow I suspect a common hatred for Debbie will give me something to talk about.

So - How badly am I going to hurt tomorrow? I only have the 25 minute version of SIU, so it didn't seem that bad.

I don't have the 25 min one, but I'm sure she'll be doing lot's of squats, plies and lunges...so I'd say Sunday you'll have sore cheeks!

Well I hope you have room for one more in here. I got my SI6 today and you guys have me so pumped up and motivated that I attempted it tonight Let me tell you...I thought that I was in decent shape, for example this summer I was pulling my 5 and 8 year old together in the bike trailer for 21 miles a day...that was no big deal...my poor muscles are in *TERRIBLE* shape. Tonight I did start it up and my body feels like jello. It was still fun though and I am looking forward to tomorrow. Take care everyone

Well, another day done of RIU, and I didn't feel too sore at all. Just my abs are a bit sensitive, but the rest of me is starting to toughen up! Day 9 and surviving with flying colours! The only thing I am not doing still is the push ups, don't want to aggrevate the shoulder injury at all, the rest is starting to be a little less harder, not easy yet though.

Re: ~*~*~*~SI6 Vidiots- House of Pain~*~*~*~

I learned a good lesson this morning. I need to have more than 12 hours in between my workouts. My belly roll is killing me. Before I was dressed to work out I sneezed and thought my stomach was going to split in two. Yikes!

Debbie was killing me with her crunches this morning and causing me a lot of distress. It must've been obvious because our St. Bernard came do do a welfare check on me. Once he knew I was alive he stood by my head wagging his big fluffy tail like a fan. It was the best part of my workout other than it ending.

Later on today I am going to try Slim and Limber and see what that session is like.

Welcome aboard to all of the new recruits.

ROTFL, I know exactly what your talking about, I did the same thing before, ouch is right.

Well I just finished RIU and I have to say that I think I am ready to move on to BIU, OMG, I can't believe I just said that. It's just that I'm getting used to everything and I really don't feel I"m working out as much as I need to be to get past this "comfy weight" grrr! I'm gonna try BIU tomorrow and see how it goes.

Saturday morning, day 10 completed, feeling no pain again today! Keeping up with Debbie's pace, don't care much about the yoga stuff, I guess that's an acquired taste! It's too slow moving for me! Off to rake the grass now, for the 3rd time. I'm sure everybody's leaves in the neighbourhood, blows onto our lawn At least it's good exercise!!!

Whoo boy! Workout #2 is done (SIU and Slim n Limber). That was MUCH harder today.

So - Am I supposed to move on to RIU tomorrow? I'm not sure I'm ready!

LOL...I was doing okay until the last couple of days, so we just need to get it up front. I hope BROOK comes back SOON!! And she can add it to the first page... (sigh)...

Too funny about the sore butt...I feel the same way...I'm not sore as much, but I feel every muscle in my whole body...as sick as it sounds, I do love these workouts! It's amazing how quickly I've seen improvement in muscle tone and strength with these workouts, w00t!

Oh and you'll love the slim and limber, I do that everyday, usually right after the workout. But if I don't have time in the a.m., I'll do it in the evening. It's only 14 minutes, I love stretching!
