    Sorry I've been absent this week--it's been crazy!

    Mon--40 min, about 3.5-4mi--I slowed down a little bit, still recovering from Sat--felt great!
    Tues--track workout in the evening--400m warmup, then 6x400m sprints, with 200m-400m recovery walk/jogs in between each lap of 400m--I only ended up doing 4 1/2 instead of 6 repeats; it took me forever to get out there in traffic, so most were almost finished when I got there, and I lost all my running partners, plus I am so new to this, and sprinting is just NOT my cup of tea! Yikes! Not to mention a cold front blew in and it WAS COLD!! I had my ballet/lyrical jazz class right after, and my teacher told me I should do sprints before every class, as my chaine turns were"perfect"--yeah, right! HAHAHA!
    Wed-off from running, but I did weight training/ab work--I'm a little sore now!
    Thurs.(today)--35 min--more of a tempo run, as it was quite chilly out there! Tonight, I may do some pilates or other ab work, or tomorrow a.m.--though, I may do my yoga--haven't done that for a while...

      10.6 miles done on the trail today in less than 2 hours! WOOHOO!! I think that 16.2 miler last weekend really helped me to feel stronger! Ya gotta love those LONG SUSTAINED RUNS! I burned 915 calories today too!!

      DH and I are going to be painting the outside of the house over Thanksgiving weekend .. that should be an AWESOME WORKOUT!

        Way to go on the Excellent run you were really Rocking WOOHOO. I am doing 16 in 2 weeks EEEK. LOL. I'll do great through I know it. I have drop down week here so my milage will be pitiful but, it's all to get me up to the Big Numbers WOOHOO.

        Running day today in my NEW shoes WOOHOO. I am running 1 hour so about 5 miles.

          9.5 mi here today, 01:34:45--a few good hills; allergies were killing me, and my right hamstring was bugging me--I think it is from the sprints this past Tues. (wasn't able to do an ice bath afterward), in addition to the new distance last Sat....Just got out of an ice bath, though, so should recover much better. We have our 20K benchmark run next Sat., so I should be good for that. Of course, I doing the 5mi Turkey Trot here on T-giving morning--should be a great boost to the metabolism for that day--hahaha!

            5.5 Miles in 1 hour WOOOHOOO I was flying for me and I did it in my new runners I was worried the first few minute cause my heels were hurting somehting I ahve never had well it took 5 minutes it passed and my feet felt fab in the new shoes. No pressure points no rubbing nothing and they are sooo springy it was excellent.

            Any how did great today ran at a clip of 5.5 the whole run WOOHOO.
