I finished my third Couch to 5K workout today. Felt good to do some running after a terrible ride home. First real snow fall of the season today and the roads were a mess.

Blech, messy snow! I remember it all too well back in Nebraska for 44 years! Nevermore nevermore! Great job with the running, qbu!

7 mi today w/RRFit. Haley and I decided to take it slow this week--she was just recovering from knee issues, and my shin was finally feeling good again, so we kept it nice and easy, chatting the whole way--1:15:00--not too far off our normal pace, about 7-8 min slower overall. I didn't even look at my watch until we were finished. I really enjoyed having the conversation, especially after last week's race and rainy 20K...

            Have a good day everyone!

No long runs (well 4 mile run was a little long) for me this week. I did another 5k last night after the National Guard Christmas party in 26 minutes. It wasn't as fast as I had hoped, but I did have fun watching The Incredible Hulk movie on SciFi during the run. My hope to be to eventually run the whole thing at 8/min pace. Right now I am having to walk after the two mile mark. Some of this is probably due to not exercising at the optimum time of day (before bed) or in the optimum frame of mind (no race day coming up). Until then, I'll be happy with my fartlek induced walking sessions.
