    I haven't need Much until I hit around the 16 mile mark then I start getting tired so I added in some nuts and stuff and that helped. Seems I juts need some food I start to get hungry ROFL.

      Sarah you do know it takes time for those nuts and seeds to digest to get you energy up to an hr or more. how about eating them before you need them so you can have the fuel already in energy form by mile 16.

        YA I kinda figured that onew out I shoould be Snacking around the 2 hour mark so when I get to 3 and Beyond I am good to go. I just gotta practice eating and runnning on the treadmill the last time I had nuts and seeds flying down the belt it was too damn funny. ROFL

          oh come on sarah didn't you want to share the running machine with them.

          try grinding them up like your own nut butter and sticking a serving in a plastic baggie. bite off the corner and squit it in your mouth.

            Yeah, the dreaded 16-18 mile mark ... For me, its 18 that's the worst of all ... I usually try and pack a snack too .. a week ago I had a banana at mile 17 which really helped .. my first banana in 4 years .. and I was like 'should I??' Then I thought, 'dang girl, eat it! Its alot better than a bag of chips!' So I'm gonna pack me some orange slices for the marathon I think. That should help.
