    Hey girl I am Young HE EH I just wanted to Push it since I wasn't running too long I didn't feel like I was pounding that hard but I looked down. My perception of exerction is weird I can run hard and not feel like it. My Max HR for my age is 190 that's My 85% max which is good for a Fast run HE HE. My hr when I run has always been a bit higher I can still run for hours everyone is sooo different.

      Sarah, I know what you mean; my HR is faster than most people's when I'm running, but I know *when* I'm pushin' too hard. I just try and vary the HR up and then back down .. give and take ... yanno?

        I had a down week from the previous 5 weeks of training. We had class from 7 am to 6 pm each day. I only ran my standard 5k to 4 miles on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I was averaging about 20-25 miles per week up until that point. I can definitely tell the difference the base building has done to my endurance level. Before I was fast through 2 miles, but would start to fade fast through the third mile. I have dropped my 5k best time a little over 2 minutes to 23:25 and my best 4 mile time to under 32 minutes. I have set PR for each distance up to 5 miles in the last 5 weeks. I am still working speed more than distance -- long distance (6+ miles) inside is just not my cup of tea. I would really like a good 8k or 10k time for my next race.
